Un'estate Italiana... Due!! (Here we go again...)

We're doing it again! We'll be in Italy for the second summer in a row, between late June and late August. This summer is so different for several reasons... we'll be here "only" 2 months instead of 3; Peter's mom recently retired and is spending 4 months here with her hubby; and everything is feeling more and more familiar to me, including the language which is growing less intimidating (although I still haven't invested in Rosetta Stone). Additionally, we are making efforts to be more active this year... instead of touring cities on weekends, we have gone on several serious hikes, and we are hiking daily up the very very steep hill between the beach and the house. The weather has been absolutely perfect so far... at times, it's been somewhat hot, but nothing compared to back home. Even without AC, we've been comfortable all but a couple days... and everyone knows I'm a snow-bunny! We'll see how it goes as August approaches... hopefully not another African heat wave ("Scirocco") like last year!

I'll get some cool pics up soon and update about our upcoming plans.

Tanti baci!
